Why should Teens Publish?
Teens & Young Adults are the most undermined and overlooked when it comes to creativity and expressions. “You’re not old enough to be doing this,” or “You’re not good enough to be doing that”. Ever gotten the “You can’t ever do that?”. Yeah. We’d like to change that here.
Teens, along with young adults, who are our future, have tons of creative potential with about a gazillion ideas floating in the head at any particular time. Many may not have as much resources and opportunities to put their thoughts into words. I built this site just to do that. Teenpublish is a publishing platform for teenagers and young adults to speak their mind, place their situations and expressions in the eyes of the reader, and reach out with other people of similar ages.
Why shouldn’t I just use facebook?
First off, facebook isn’t an article/blog resource. Although facebook is amazing, it limits you to people you know or meet in school/work (unless you add everyone on facebook like a creeper). How often do you want to express advice to your friends, or place your most deep thoughts on pages, but you can’t because your worried about what you’re friends will say? You write the next quote worthy of Einstein, only to go down in a list of random blurbs after a week. Whether in anonymity or in being yourself, we hope you can keep an open mind and feel at home by tapping into teenpublish’s network.
What should I write about?
Write or comment about anything you feel you need to express about any situation! Each registered member has been set to contribute to teenpublish. The more good articles you post, the more you will be well known as a writer!
